This is a music theory index where students can search the periodical 
literature in music theory by suject, keyword, composer, composition and author.

2. http://www.jazclass.aust.com

A very informative site, introducing some fundamental musical concepts. 
Visually pleasing site for students                          

3. http://www.freejazzlessons.com
Provides free video jazz lessons for piano

4. http://www.musictheory.net

Includes introductory and intermediate music theory lessons for students

5. http://www.theconcertband.com

A very useful resource for directors of concert bands

6. http://www.finalemusic.com/notepad/default.aspx

I use this free download in all my music theory classes for composition projects.
Not the full version but good for beginners just learning composition.

7. http://www.smartmusic.com/default.aspx                                                        
We use Smart Music in all our band classes and lessons.
This is also a great site to pick out repetiore for your concerts.
Students can play along with accompainment or full bands or orchestras.
Students can also sing their part with the other parts singing with them.
It can be recorded and graded all online!

This is the highest rated music resource on the internet.
Link to the most valuable resources for music educators of all levels.
